The Waveforms, the ancient Olympic games, Many Worlds, The Lost Ring, and us

Alright, this all may be somewhere else, but I just want to compile some info here rather than hunt all over these and other forums for it. :)

According to the Lost Codex, the theory of Many Worlds is true. For every decision we make, there is another us making the other choice, creating billions and billions of multiple parallel worlds similar to ours yet different. They could be minor differences or they could be major differences.

In this world, we have a book describing four sacred waveforms. Examining them shows a return to the starting state.

We have six amnesiac athletes who very obviously do not belong to this world.

We have proof that King Theodosius banned the ancient Olympic games in this reality.

We have a method of opening a gateway between these many worlds that was practiced by the ancient Greeks in what was called, "the most important game", at specific times and places predetermined by important people.

The Olympics returned to this reality many years after its banning, and the omphaputer presents each possible time of an Olympic games, counting upwards.

What can be concluded? Simply that at some point when King Theodosius banned the Olympic games, there were other realities in which he did not. The Olympics continued in those realities. There must be a breakdown of communication among the many worlds, resulting in fewer and fewer participating realities as a result of Theodosius' actions.

This world is branching further and further away from the "trunk" reality, resulting in more and more changes in other realities. The further we drift, the less opportunity we have of communicating with the other worlds, and the opportunity to rejoin the trunk becomes less and less.

The four sacred waveforms describe how to undo the choices we have made and make our way back to a starting state, allowing us to undo past mistakes. A sort of cosmic "second chance" to try the other path. The only way it works in most cases is through figuring out which state we are in, and communicate to the other state what to do. The ancient Greeks were able to do this through "the most important game", and therefore were able to guide their reality towards a better future. When King Theodosius banned the Olympics, the Greeks lost the ability to check where they were in the states of many worlds. Communication between the many worlds began to break down, causing fewer opportunities to guide and reset for the good of their worlds. The worlds in which the Olympics were not banned continued to hold their "most important game", while our world moved forward in the dark for centuries.

Then, in 1920, someone from the other worlds sent six to our reality in order to restore the communication. This was attempted a number of times at many other Olympic games, each time resulting in diminishing failure (omphalos percentage at the omphaputer). Then it simply fails every year afterwards, which leads one to believe someone intentionally wants to keep us on our path of non-communication.

This year, six more athletes from these many worlds are sent again, and thanks to advances in technology in this world, more effective communication can occur instantaneously, resulting in our six athletes being able to find each other faster, organize better, and spread their message more effectively than ever before.

Our mission is not so much as to help return our six athletes to their own realities. We must find the lost ring. Is it a physical ring of some sort? I don't think so. I think the lost ring is something more allegorical. The lost ring is the ability to return our world to a starting state; to come full circle, like a ring, back to a point of existence where we can make a different choice and undo whatever damage comes of our original decision. If we find the lost ring, then we can undo any past mistakes - global warming, nuclear weaponry, civil wars; we could find a solution to disease, hunger, poverty; we can move towards a brighter and more prosperous future not just for the human race, but for the entire universe depending on how open minded you could be.

Think of the visions the past agonothetai had - blood, devastation, war - and how they hoped to avoid these perils by locating the lost ring. They tried and failed, and most likely due to some unseen force. The minotaur at the center of the labyrinth - Ariadne's "Theo" who stole the artifacts. Someone doesn't want us talking to the other worlds and returning to our starting state. Someone who most likely currently profits or will profit from our current path of reality. A corporate entity, a secret society, or government order would be the most likely candidates.

At this point the only way to work towards this idea of the Lost Ring is to begin training in the ancient sport of the Labyrinth, much like our other selves are already doing in the other worlds. Then, at this year's Olympics, communication between worlds can be restored and we can move towards resetting ourselves back to a starting state and back to a more prosperous path.

That's my theory. Only by finding more of the Lost Codex will my theory pan out.

Wow! I'm impressed. I know it's just a theory, but the way you told that, seemed like it made everything pretty clear for me.

I think you are on the right path, good theory.

Definately a well thought out speculation! I like the idea of having worlds where the Olmpics were never banned..

Great spec.

Also, I'm wondering what these revelations mean for decoding the instruction, "When you ready to receive data look to delphi"

Perhaps "look to Delphi" means finding the Delphis of the six other worlds? ...and maybe having each athlete/labyrinths orient towards one of the Delphis?

Hmmm... perhaps the postcard with all the coordinates corresponds to the locations of Delphis in other metaverses?

Maybe the graph keeps changing because it's not just our world that's in danger but others as well. Remember the waves are the TOTAL worlds in that state (pangaea, gaea, etc;) so when one changes it would effect the whole graph. If you haven't been keeping up with the chapters, CH13, 18, and 14 all confirm a few of our theories, mine included. This world is the "lost ring", it has fallen out of synch with the others. because we are out of synch we are in danger from nature reforming us to synch with the others. It will do that by violently moving our continents into a Pangaea form, destroying cities and killing millions in the process. I also believe that this world is the main world in which the others branch off, which is why this one is the one that needs to be saved the most. Once we are back in synch the others will follow. I also believe that Delphi is a nexus point of all the worlds and is the same no matter what world you are on, and that the agonothetai should go there.

Wow, a very impressive summary, twoeyedjack! I am feeling like philosophizing more about your theory, even if this thread seems to be dead for a long time ... There are two assumptions that bother me (rest assured, I am not on Theo's side ... yet):

First, let us assume that the Ancient Greeks, even the late ones, were not dumb. It would be most useful to know more of the reasons of Theodosius's choice before arriving at a conclusion and taking action - although the latter is very urgently called for. But like a call for arms, I think it helps to think things through beforehand. 'Save the world' can mean many things - taking action as well as not taking action as well as taking different action.

(By the way, Wikipedia says Theodosius banned the games "as part of the campaign to impose Christianity as a state religion." Now, "state religion" I do not like, but although I am no Christian, Christianity's values do seem to be quite a good choice as a starting point.)

Synchronizing worlds, avoiding separateness or individualism, making everything equal strikes me as quite totalitarian (either "fascist" or "communist"), like a pan-global franchise? (sorry ;- ) What kind of reality would this be that discourages difference? How on earth should evolution have played its game in such a reality? (Even pan-global corporations do acknowledge and adapt (slowly) to local differences.)

(meta) I hope the PMs will make a statement about the morale after all this, I am that old-fashioned ... (/meta)

But even if reality only supports a limited number of different worlds, why would "resetting" to an initial state be desirable? Why not keep the number of worlds, the multitude, the individualism as high as possible, for the greatest available diversion? (But I am a child of the twentieth century by Christian calendar, which was a high time for the individuum never seen before (and maybe never after).)

This "resetting" also troubles me because I do not believe that life offers true resets and second chances, only improvements on second tries, as I also believe that no one can "waste time" or "lose time", because there is no way to go back. Would a universal reset not imply that everything we did and experience would be lost? If we would retain memories of this branch of reality and timeline, it would not be a true reset.

But even on August 25^th^ I would like to remember my past, including all my mistakes; I would even like to exist at all! I do not believe that mistakes - or anything - can be undone in any world. The human task is to cope and grow with them.

My favourite interpretation of our imposed mission is that of sweeping the wood: it is pointless, it is never over, but in that it is a true epitome of life, and you can (probably) still find peace in it.
Maybe I am just too concerned, and it is after all just a game ... could it be? I thought not!

PS:
By the way, doesn't quantum mechanics tell us that just measuring will already make the universal wave function collapse?

I only wish our path wasn't so muddy and unclear right now!
