(I am so sorry I couldn't find anybody to provide a Japanese translation in time)
Since a lot of people are considering learning Esperanto now, I think it would be fun to do so together. We could practise with foreign FTLR people, share our experiences, apply what we learn to the Esperanto codex texts and search for meanings we may have missed. And since Esperanto was designed to be really easy, I am confident that it's possible to become conversational in it (and beyond the stage of needing textbooks) before the Olympics start, without having to commit a lot of time.
So I went ahead and created a special section in the Lernu forums that we can use for studying and I found some experienced language tutors to assist us free of charge. Lernu itself offers great multimedia courses for free and at a relaxed pace of one lesson per week (everybody studying it whenever he has time; no classroom times) it will be no problem at all to achieve our goal.
Are you up for it? Please sign the student list in the topic "Studsesio 1..." at
http://www.lernu.net/komunikado/forumo/forumo.php?f=27 . I will invite people from foreign-language FTLR groups as well and in a few weeks we will hopefully have solved our communication issues.
